Tracking From BIRTH to Career

With bogus claims that education reforms are "state led" the Obama administration is buying their way into twenty states and forcing them to adopt student tracking systems from BIRTH through career. My home state of Michigan will receive $10.6 million, Washington State will receive $17.3 million and Pennsylvania will receive $14.3 million of the $250 million in economic stimulus money to track students.

Arne Duncan shared his dream last year "“I want to be able to track every child throughout their educational trajectory, so we know what they are doing." He reiterated his vision again in a recent press release,
"Tracking student progress from birth through college helps teachers in the classroom, helps principals manage and improve their schools, and helps parents better understand the unique educational needs of their child,"
